Dr. Gram and his family moved from the east coast in August of 2004 and joined Surgical Specialists of Decatur, as the second only board certified vascular surgeon in the area. He attended St. John's College in Annapolis, MD and graduated with a medical degree from University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. He then completed his surgical residency at Berkshire Medical Center and continued on in his fellowship in vascular surgery at Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA. Dr. Gram is board certified in vascular surgery and is registered ultrasonographer.

He provides a streamlined approach in offering solutions for patients with vascular diseases beginning with consultation, examination, diagnostic studies and treatment. Dr. Gram is a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Gram actively has taken a role in educating the public by participating in vascular disease screenings, as well as public forums on carotid stenosis and surgical treatment for varicose veins and venous reflux.
